A Codicil is a simple update to your Will. If you just need to make a few simple changes to your Will, a Codicil will work. Do not just write the changes on your will as doing so may invalidate your Will. A Codicil is cheap and easy so don’t delay in making desired changes until it is too late.
If you have several Codicils making various changes, you may want to eventually revoke them all and start with a new Will to make sure your heirs understand what you desire.
